It is not a tree topper..there is no hole in the bottom to put on top of tree..it does sit on a table..not a tree as description...I did cut a hole in the bottom and clingy foam balls went everywhere sticking to everything. It still looks ridiculous as a topper..it's cute so I sat it on a table
