I Want My MTV! Music Television was the first channel you could tune into to watch different music videos 24/7. Debuting with the famous song "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Buggles, it became the most successful music television service to ever air! In 1981 MTV made an impact by launching its debut off with an actual launch. The footage shown was the Apollo 11 space launch, and a voiceover proclaimed, "Ladies and gentlemen, rock and roll," and with that, MTV was born. This pajama set-top features the MTV logo in neon yellow, pink, and blue with the phrase "Music Television" below it. The bottoms feature cassette tapes in those same colors and an all-over print of the same MTV logo. The pajama shorts contain an elastic waistband that fits every fan, and the whole pajama set is 100% polyester jersey.
