Not impressed

This company was HIGHLY recommended to me by 2 very loyal long time customers. I decided to give you a try. I'm not feeling the love yet. The tongue of the shoe hurts my foot. My heels hurt after a walk. What is going on? Is it because they are too tight? I have been a size 11 for 37 years..never anything different.

Hey Shanon! Thank you so much for reaching out to us. We're sorry to hear about your recent experience with the Torin 6. There were no updates to the Outsole on the Torin 6 models. Regarding the tongue, We created a softer feel by reducing material layers and extending a plush microfiber material to the top. There was a slight rise on the back of the shoe near the heel but this would affect the heel itself. You may want to look into purchasing a half size up from your regular shoe size as this model comes in our Standard Footshape Fit which still features our wide toe box but it is slightly slimmer then our original footshape. Fit caused pain, had to return

The tongue cut into my ankles and the padding on the inside of the heel rubbed against my ankle causing irritation and pain with every step. I'm so sad! If these issues were fixed, would be perfect!

The Design Change Is Not An Improvement In My Case

I have worn Altra shoes for years and loved them. However, the redesigned back of the shoe has injured my Achilles due to rubbing. The heel comes up too high and rubs. I won't buy again if not changes.
