Install the kit on my 18/24 speed bike. It was difficult to install. This kit is designed for a regular bike, not a bike that can shift gears. However, if your bike is 18/24 speed, you can mount the kit on the left side. You will need to install the flywheel on the left-hand side of your rear axle and spot-weld it to secure it. After installing the kit, you can still shift gears on the bike. But if you don't know how to weld, We recommend that you buy our hub motor kit or our kit. Recommended batteries for this kit: This kit is 24V and you will need either two 12V batteries, (lead-acid or lithium), or one 24V battery. When they are connected, the recommended capacity is >15AH and the operating current needs to be less than 20A. Note: No batteries: This kit includes all the parts you'll need, except for the batteries needed to turn the bike into an electric bike. You need to buy your own batteries. Install the battery: We do not provide the battery case. But you can attach it to the rear frame above the rear wheel or even make a box (some DIY tips are required). You can design whether the battery is removable or hardwired. No user manual in English.
