Edges don't adhere well

I'm pretty good at applying iPhone and iPad screen protectors without getting any bubbles from dust particles. In this case, I spent 20 minutes working on the screen in a room that was designed to have very low dust (door sweeps and air filters.) But with a screen this large, it's just impossible. When I applied the film, there were many tiny bubbles that would not come out, due to very tiny particles of dust that remained on the screen. I even went over the entire screen with wide low-tack tape. It isn't the manufacturer's fault -- the Surface Studio screen is just too large in my opinion for this type of screen protector to work. Also, the edges did not stay down very well, so they stood out. I have not seen this problem with iPhone and iPad protectors that I have applied, but for whatever reason, this protector did not lay down flat on the top and left edges.
