I was so excited when I got my V11 and it did not disappoint in fact Dyson has surpassed all my expectations. I was a fan of my V8 absolute but the new model blows it out the water. The power and suction is as good as any corded vacuum I've owned including Henry and Dyson big ball animal. The other impressive upgrade is the battery life which will last well over an hour on eco mode, The larger bin is really handy and empties with ease. I love the fact that there are four modes now as opposed to two on the V8. Eco mode is perfect for hard floors. Med is great when you need a little extra suction. Auto for when using the new head to go automatically from hard floors to carpet and back again. Boost for ground in dirt and spillages. Another great new feature is the digital information videos that show you battery life, modes and if there are issues that need correcting e.g filter not sealed and then a video shows you how to correct it. I was amazed how good my carpets came up they looked professionally cleaned. Although the V11 is slightly heavier it is still very compact, portable and stores neatly. I like the new adapter that allows you to carry your tools on the main pole, this also protects the pole from scratches. Although I have only had my V11 for a short time I am already thrilled to bits with it. There is no denying the price tag is high but I truly believe it is an investment and a quality product.

My daughter bought this for me for Christmas. Wow - this thing cleans like crazy. I was somewhat shocked at what it picked up after I vacuumed with my regular vacuum. It is pretty amazing.
