Just plain good

I have been guiding since 2004 and Pflueger reels are my main reel for one reason, they are reliable and handle punishment. Daily fishing and catching nice fish put a lot of pressure on substandard reels. Pflueger reels have always held up and I have some years on some of my reels and they just keep on preforming. Smooth and reliable is the best way to describe them. Bobby G

Best Value! I have purchased and use several President XT Spinning reels. Following the path of it's older brother the President, this reel has proven to me it's overall durability by operating without flaw over several seasons use. I own this reel in several sizes and It has replaced nearly all my older off brand reels and continues to be my choice when purchasing new. IMHO - The higher retrieve ratio of the XT reel over that of the original President puts the icing on the cake in the best valued spinning reel sold today!
