It worked out
The wood is very attractive, and I like the final result. Be aware that this is a very skinny frame, which is exactly what I wanted for my picture. The cons is that the acrylic has a blue backing which was very tedious to remove. For the price, it also felt cheap that we had acrylic rather than glass. The backing is also a cheap material.
