I found India Ink easier to use than acrylic paint

India ink is archival quality. I've used it on water color paper and canvas. A small bottle of India ink goes a long ways. I find India ink easier to mix colors and getting good results. India ink can be used like water color if you thin it out with water. I would say I am more of a drawer than a painter. I bought fillable pens for the ink. I also bought fine detail brushes that allows me to create a lot of detail in my art work.
