Mio 5415N5830027 MiVue 733 Wi-fi And GPS Full HD Dash Cam

The MiVue 733 dashcam is the first one I have used. I used it during the day, at night, and during the rain at night. The HD quality of the footage is impressive. The MiVue 733 is easy to install on my windshield and slide onto the mount. The mini USB connector cable is quite long so no issues moving it out of sight. The camera is a smaller size and will not disrupt the field of vision. This package came with a 16GB SD card. If you want more footage saved get a larger card. Once it is full it records over the oldest files. Once plugged into the car it starts recording as soon as the car starts to move. The screen displays the date, time, mph, and GPS coordinates. If the dashcam senses sudden movement or direction change in the G sensor(like an accident) it will immediately record this event and save it in a separate folder where it will not be recorded over. It features lane departure warning, forward collision warning, stop and go alert, fatigue alert, headlight reminder, eco drive indicator, parking mode, camera option, safety cam option with multiple alert options and settings, and many other features to customize or turn on/off. I was able to use the wifi feature and the MiVue app to view and download any file or you can use the SD card for this. For my needs this camera is excellent and works well.

This little device starts up immediately upon being powered up. It's quite small, but it has a 130° wide angle camera. The picture is nice and clear and recording is really easy. I've had this for about a week, and I have grown to depend on it's reliability. It's like a witness to what goes on, on the road! Who can argue with actual footage? Ok, moving on, it is very compact, but doesn't swivel easily. So, be very careful when trying to get it at the right angle; you don't want to break it away from the devices mount socket. It comes with a 16G SD memory card, a mini-usb car charger, a car mount, and a quick start guide. Sorry, no wall charger. It can back up your recordings to your smartphone. You do have to install the app. It has a handy assistance system that will warn you if you get to close to another vehicle, veer to far or out of your lane, and a fatigue alert for when you've possibly driven for too long. The lane departure warning can be a bit bothersome because it alerts you when you're changing lanes also. You can always disable it though. It states that it has a built in GPS, but it's not for built in maps, but for recording your driving info, like the different dates and times. All in all it's a great little device that should be required for all vehicles in the future. You never know when you'll need it to testify on your behalf!!
