Pleasantly Surprised!
For those of us who do most of our work sitting down, this is the item you want. There's no assembly involved and adjustment is good for those who are short as well as tall. What I like about it the most is that it helps to give my spine a break from long sitting, especially if you have a bad back that needs to extend at times (due to the stress of long sitting). This product is sturdy, and not too heavy about 20lbs but I would suggest that you get the specifications of your desk in order to make sure that it's strong enough to hold the X-Elite, as well as your monitor. It will not be a good idea to place it on a desk that is not stable and wobbles. Also note, if you decide to keep it on your desk your monitor will be elevated to about 2.25 inches when in its down position. There's a leaver to the right that you push to go up, and you push both ends of the adjustable desk to go down while holding the same leaver. Very simple. I would definitely recommend this product!

Excellent Adjustable Desk Converter
This standing desk is 28" wide by 20" deep which holds both my 22" monitors (both angled), keyboard & mouse with ease. It comes fully assembled. Height is adjusted by the lever on the side & lifts straight up and down - perfect for a cubicle setting. The material and workmanship are of good quality; the support structure is metal and has a foam underlayment to prevent scratching. I chose the maple color to match the décor in a medical office. I am well pleased with the color, workmanship, ease of use. I would highly recommend this to anyone who spends a lot of time sitting and wants to change their routine.

I cannot believe I went for so long without my X-Elite Standing Desk!!! I deal with back issues and a pinched nerve. My job is a working in a small office for a CPA. I would leave at the end of the day in so much pain. Now, I have my X-Elite Standing Desk and I can stand up and sit down during the day helping take pressure off my back when I am in stand mode. And I loved the fact that it was ready right out of the box and so easy to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
