Even my picky husband loves this rug.
It's really hard to satisfy my spouse (of 44 years!). To my delight, he loves this rug. We bought this for the bedroom, needing something which would coordinate with various colors of bedding. In addition to the 5x8, we bought two smaller rugs, one for each side of the bed. They are still brand new, but feel wonderful on bare feet. I suspect the wool will become even softer over time. Demanding spouse was surprised by how durable they feel. They are noticeably thicker than the rugs we replaced. Plus, the design is surprisingly pleasing. It's interesting, colorful, and a big change from the oriental style floral motif rugs we replaced. Each "medallion" is a different combination of cheerful colors, and will coordinate with lots of different colors of bed linens. And for Lebowski fans, YES. It really ties the room together!
