Jarrow Formulas® MK-7 is made via fermentation by Bacillus subtilis subsp. natto. MK-7 (menaquinone-7) is the bioactive form of vitamin K2; traditionally found naturally occurring in Natto. MK-7 is ten times better absorbed than K1 from spinach* and is responsible for the carboxylation of specific bone proteins needed for building bones.*

The product is great. I have been using it for years. However, the seller who sold it to me, which was called The Healthy Shop Co. USA, is crooked and should be avoided at all costs. They sent me two bottles of vitamins with a sticker placed over them that indicated that the expiration date was 2028. I peeled off the sticker to try to see what the actual expiration date was and I couldn't find it. I called Jarrow and gave them the lot number. They told me the vitamins were manufactured in 2022 and would never have an expiration date as late as 2028. I hope this seller is banned from ever selling again from Walmart. What they did was also likely illegal. Fortunately, the Walmart customer service representative was understanding and told me to throw away the vitamins and he would give me a complete refund.

The best brand there is!
I've been taking Jarrow Formulas MK-7 for its vitamin K2 benefits, and I'm impressed with the results. It's easy to take, with just one small capsule daily. I've noticed improved joint comfort and feel reassured knowing it supports bone and heart health. Must take with Vitamin D
This is a good quality MK-7 with a convenient dosage. MK-7 should complement vitamin D in order to aid with absorption to the right places in the body. It is practically impossible to really "see" the effects of supplements like MK-7 because the effects are non-noticeable, but the brand is reputable and I've been using with years of vitamin D with no ill effect. The ingredient of this MK-7 is from fermented natto and is considered generally more effective than MK-4 when used in conjunction with vitamin D.
