I RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS

I have been using the smaller version of this product for a couple of years in my basement game room. To see this in a “mega” size is great. Having used a dehumidifier that you had to plug in and then empty every time you turned around, this product is a welcome change. It is so easy to use, plus no loud noises from a plug in dehumidifier! You just open and pour the crystal mixture into the top of the receptacle, put the lid back on and set it where you need it. The crystals absorb the moisture in the air and when the crystals harden and forms a liquid that drips to the bottom of the receptacle, you dump out into your toilet and flush away. After the crystals are all dissolved, you replace with new ones. It is septic safe and I like that I can’t smell any mustiness. This should last at least 6 months depending on the dampness of your area.

VERY EASY TO USE

THE DAMPRID SYSTEM IS VERY EASY TO USE AND IS REFILLABLE!! I LOCATED OUR DAMPRID CANISTER IN A 4 X 15 X 8 FOOT CLOSET IN MY MOTHER IN LAWS BATHROOM, IT IS A LARGE BATHROOM. I HAVE HAD IT A SHORT TIME SO I CANT TELL YOU WHAT KIND OF SUCESS IT WILL HAVE REMOVING THE MOISTURE, BUT I WILL SAY AGAIN HOW EASY IT IS TO SET UP AND USE. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO UPDATING THE REVIEW IN A FEW MONTHS WHEN THE RAINY SEASON STARTS IN CALIFORNIA. SO FOR NOW I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING THIS SYSTEM IN A BASEMENT,BATHROOM OR ANYWHERE THAT MOISTURE COULD BE AN ISSUE.

Really pulls water out of the air

Pretty impressed, I have a storage space outside my apt and living in the pacific northwest it can get humid here. I put this in for about a week is when I started to see water at the bottom of the tray and since my storage area is smaller I put half a bag in at a time so I can save and reuse when it's all done. So it has saved my unit from molding and whatnot. Comes with 2 packages and an inner tray. Easy to use and easy to follow directions
