Venta LW25 Comfort Plus Eco-friendly Evaporative Humidifier, White - Filter-Free for up to 485 ft²

This machine is quiet and it works. I use it in the bedroom, and have had it for at least 10 years. In that time, I had to replace one part. I also ordered a second disk because the disks get really dirty and are a pain-in-the-neck to clean. So while one is getting cleaned (in the dishwasher and by hand with a chopstick to scrape the muck from the fins, for example, or tons of hot water running strongly over it while the muck falls out), I have the other one running. My only other complaint about this product is the blue light indicating that it is running. It is too bright for the bedroom, so I have to cover it with a piece of cardboard. It would be good if the company would design a tool for the consumer to clean the fins of the disks. (Think giant curved comb.)

It's been 2 years at least since purchasing the LW25 model. I reside in northern Utah, desert country. Including where you live is helpful to viewers of our reviews since water quality varies. I use to have a Bionaire humidifier which lasted 20 years, rather noisy but did a great job putting moisture in air. The LW25 is relatively easy to maintain although it's a dirty shame how much the cleaner and treatment bottles cost. I would love to purchase a second unit but lordie doubling the upkeep costs in 2025 not an option for me. Given all this, I still recommend because it does the job and very quietly. You just gotta take care of it. OMT, don't leave water in it and leave on vacation 😁.
