We were slightly worried when ordering based on the reviews but saw that the majority of other reviews rated the delivery and complexity of assembly. Both of these are subjective matters, so we forward we went. Packages arrived (3 boxes) and showed no significant damage but, we did have minimal damage to about 4 panels of the roof. I only noticed dents when my husband pointed it out. My husband assembled the majority of the gazebo on his own and it took about 3 days. When starting the top he found that it was definitely a 2 or more person job and luckily our daughter and her friend arrived just in time! (They described what little they saw to another brand that has furniture with near impossible assembly instructions.) Once the beginning of the roof was assembled he was able to complete the rest without help. He stated that the instructions were slightly confusing/vague at some steps but mostly, tedious with a lot of little parts. It looks fabulous! There is a review that we read where the person stated it's worth paying someone to put it together, and my husband stated he wouldn't do it again for $1,000. HUGE SHOUTOUT to my husband and all before him that have fought the assembly battle and won!
