(12 pack) Mom's Best Quick Whole Grain Oats, Quick Rolled Oats, Hearty 16 oz Tube

Purchased the 1st time on a whim and was surprised at the quality for the money. No badly processed oats, no clumps or foreign particles and also surprisingly, no fines, even after the last portioned was used. THIS IS RARE FOR MOST BRANDS, even the guy with the funny hat. Taste was excellent as is the case for most rolled oats, they're all pretty much from the same sources. Let's be honest - oatmeal's main function is to act as a matrix for butter and honey and/or brown sugar. These oats do justice to any topping, condiment or added goodies. BTW, I also appreciate that they come in a reasonably sized [? box / tube / carton?] so the shorter shelf life ensures freshness. All in all, Mom's Best may or may not be the "Best" but they are at least better than most. Bone Appetite.

These quick oats are the only ones I will be getting from now on. After being raised on the name brand oats everyone is familiar with, I hesitated to try a new brand. The first time I grabbed a container of Moms Best, I was pleased with the price point and that they are nonGMO certified. My family loves the texture (which is tricky in a neuro-spicy household) and we enjoy it most as baked oatmeal with fruit, as an add in in our homemade honey wheat bread, and when mixed into streusel toppings for other baked goods! The only thing I would appreciate even more is being able to buy it in a bulk size locally.
