Rice: 3 cups, Water: 4½ cups, Yield: 9 cups, Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 12. For drier rice, use 1/4 cup less water. For moister rice, use 1/4 cup more water. Microwave - From Ambient - Cooking Directions in the Microwave***. 1. In a 2-quart microwave-safe dish combine 1-¾ cups water and 1 cup rice.**. 2. Cover and microwave on High for 5 minutes. Mahatma jasmine rice is my favorite rice. This jasmine rice is always high quality and cooks perfect every time. I use the stove top method, rice and water with a pinch of salt-bring to boil and immediately turn to low with lid on for 15 minutes. Fluffy jasmine rice every time.
