Inspired by Star Tours, which originally opened at Disneyland in 1987 and was the first ever Star Wars attraction in a Disney Park-bringing George Lucas' galaxy far, far away to life in a whole new way, thanks to Walt Disney Imagineering. The original Star Tours blasted off to Endor; the experience has since been updated with other galactic destinations and characters from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The attraction currently features state-of-the-art technology including a flight simulator, digital 3D video, Audio-Animatronics characters, and ''in-cockpit'' special effects and music.
