I'm glad I read reviews before purchasing, because these definitely run a size larger. I am usually a size 8, but ordered a size 6, and they fit pretty well, but are still a little loose. I think I could maybe have sized down to a 4. I am a bit handy with a sewing machine, so I will probably end up taking them in a bit. they are not fitted around the thighs like in the pictures of the models. That aside, these are made of a soft cotton blend, and are very comfortable! I will probably buy in another color, and try sizing down even more
