I was honored to meet Tracie and attend one of her teaching sessions at She Speaks 2018. I've read all of Tracie's books and followed her blog for years. In the introduction of Love Life Again Tracie Miles tells readers that "Today can be the first day of the rest of your abundant, joy-filled life" and the last words are "Seize today. Let it be the first day of the rest of your very own joy-filled, dearly loved amazing life." What is sandwiched in the pages between these statements is an encouraging and inspirational book that is filled with her own personal experiences and an abundant use of relatable Bible scripture. There are thirteen chapters that offer steps and tips to help us "find joy when life is hard" and each of the thirteen chapters end with a challenge. These challenges are meant to help further our understanding of what we have just read as the author instructs us to Reflect--Act--Pray--Smile. After reading this book I am reminded once again that the life that I have been given has passed very quickly and that it will soon be over. I can choose for the remainder of my days to be filled with unhappiness and discontent or I can seek joy and elect to love my life again.
