Veteran Christian metal outfit Stryper celebrated their 25th anniversary with Murder by Pride, an amiable 12-track collection of upbeat pop-metal on par with the group's early-'80s offerings like Soldiers Under Command and To Hell with the Devil. Vocalist/guitarist Michael Sweet's pipes have lost little in their transition from upstart faith-based twenty-something to seasoned hard-rocking worship leader, and his lyrics (though occasionally leaning hard on the cheese factor) are never overtly preachy, something that has always made Stryper one of the more accessible and legitimately fun acts in the notoriously sterile CCM genre. Stryper still rocks, 25 years

This is an awesome cd. It is more true to Stryper's past with alot more solo's then was on the Reborn Cd. The title track is great and the Boston cover is cool. Overall and excellent choice as Heaven's Rockers still got it. God Bless, see ya on tour.

Outstanding Album

Hands down one of the best rock albums to come around in the past 20 years - heard four leaf clover online and rushed out to pick up the album - excellent decision on my part. The guitar playing on the album is some of the best I've ever heard and the vocals are phenominal. Get this record - you will not be disappointed.

SIMPLY A BRILLIANT ALBUM!!

This is another excellent album from Stryper, equal to the “Reborn” album released in 2005. There are 12 tracks on the album with quality cuts like “Love Is Why”, “Everything” and “My Love I'll Always Show”. Michael Sweet still after 25 years has those searing vocals, an offering as praise to the LORD. Another track, called “Peace Of Mind” feature's Boston's Tom Scholz which is ‘more than a feeling'. This track reminds us that our goal as Christians is to be faithful, not successful, in this world that is full of competition. As we are faithful = we have Peace Of Mind. Brilliant album.
