SAFAVIEH Faux Fur Raphael Solid Machine Washable Area Rug, Ivory, 3' x 5'

Websters defines rug as “a piece of thick heavy fabric that usually has a nap or pile and is used as a floor covering.” That, unfortunately, is not what this is. There is nothing thick or heavy about this. It should instead be called a floor blanket. So thin, so lightweight. Even so, I placed it upon the bathroom floor only to be met with disappointment - to see the edges are not even covered with fur. Stitching around all edges is visible! tsk tsk. I thought this little rug would improve the little bathroom. Alas, it did not improve it in any way. What was I to do with this? This that I thought was a rug but actually came to see is instead nothing more that a small sort of blanket? When I think of all the things I could have used these dollars on… Glad I am though that I did not pay full price for that would have been robbery! My story continues As I left the room, I came upon a small storage bench. A bench that sits naked upon the landing. That is where I decided it shall go! I had finally found a home for the blanket! Or so I thought… I do think it looks quite nice laying upon that hard bare bench. This had made it feel nice. It was now welcoming and comfortable all while the grippy back held it in place. Yes, I had found a place! Until I ran my hand across the fur. My hand suddenly stopped when I came to a section. What is this? Melted plastic? My hand kept moving across the fur only to be met by even more fur that is MELTED and fused together… how can this be? This came nowhere near heat and arrived in the mail just a little while ago…
