High Alpha Champion

I absolutely love this jet. I used an AR10360T for flaperons, tailerons, afterburner, and independent nose wheel steering channel. The high alpha capabilities have sadly left my Viper 90mm feeling very neglected and inadequate.

4.5 stars. Still the best 80mm edf ive flown

Hands down, the eflite 80mm F16 is the best edf jet. I bought one when it first came out and flew it non stop for three months. Swapped in a 8ch reciever cause it flies so much better with flaps and elevons like the real thing and needed another ch for the afterburner led cause it didnt work by using a y connector off the throttle channel. Had a few hard landings, misjudged the approach and rolled into the grass and ended upside down, wheels were worn down and even wore out the steering servo. Btw, the freewing 9g servo also works well as a replacement. After all that it still flew great. This plane has a great power system, lighting system is sweet, good speed, efficient lift, can high alpha like a boss and the landing gear are the best ive seen in this class of edf. I sold it and bought another agressor gray one and before i could even get a maiden on it, eflite shows off the thunderbird scheme and it even has the 8ch rx like i always thought it should come with. I never flew with the ordinence on the agressor grey one and didnt care that the thunderbird version didnt come with it and gladly accept the 8ch receiver in its place. They deffinetly did right by painting the plane white instead of leaving raw foam. My only gripe is that the tail uses a sticker(yes, sticker, not decal) for the entire white part with the stars. It isnt noticeable apparent when fifteen feet away, but im deffinetly peeling it off and painting and hitting up callie graphics for some help. I mean the sticker on the rudder doesnt wanr to stay on anyways as the edges keep peeling up even after i used a little heat to try and get it to stick better. Just half a star knocked off for that.
