Not to bad to install, the resistors are plastic and as you need to put them in the headlight unit it seems like it would rattle. They are heavy compared to just a oem bulb so I can see it putting strain on the adaptive headlight motors. But I don't use 'auto' on the headlight switch, I manually turn my lights on and off so it doesn't use the adaptive. No codes, i did make sure the adaptive still works. Very bright, compared to my friends high end bulbs; you can't tell the difference.

Great replacement for E90 daytime running lights. You can see the new bright white light on the left versus the stock yellow light on the right in the picture. The installation was a bigger pain then I was expecting, but that's the fault of BMW versus the seller/product. I ended up having to remove the air box on the driver's side and use a mirror to get the bulb orientation right. Once the bulb installed you end up stuffing the electronics in the headlight assembly which I wasn't happy about, but it works. No error codes and everything lights up and turns off as and when it should. Worth the time to install and money.
