KEYED ENTRY LOCK: Round Keyed Entry Pocket Door Locks feature a keyed entry lock, allowing them to be locked and unlocked from the exterior with a key. Specifically, this hardware features a latch with a tooth that hooks into the included strike plate to hold the door closed. This type of pocket door lock can also be locked and unlocked from the interior via a turn button.
DOOR PREPARATION: On each side of the door, mark the center of your bore hole 2-3/8" from the edge of the door. Drill a 2-1/8" diameter bore hole halfway through one side of the door. Repeat this process on the opposite side to complete the bore hole. Using a mortise chisel, create a depression measuring 2-1/4" by 1" in the edge of the door. Finally, drill a 1" diameter crossbore hole in the center of the depression to complete the preparation. For the best results, use the included template to prepare your door.
