Benefitting Music for Peace, Pavarotti was joined for an evening of once in a lifetime solo and duet performances featuring Enrique Iglesias, Eurythmics, Tracy Chapman, Aqua, Savage Garden, Caetano Veloso and mire.
Another recording from Pavarotti's Modena series of annual concerts benefiting children of a given location. This one had proceeds going to Cambodia and Tibet. A multitude of pop stars (both American-European and purely Italian) showed up for the effort. As with other installments of the series. Enrique Iglesias truly stands out for his assist in "Cielito Lindo," admittedly not exactly classical, but given the orchestration that was added in, it became a tour de force for both Pavarotti and Iglesias.
