Minerva Exclusive Brushstroke Blooms Pre Quilted Coating Fabric - per yard

A Minerva exclusive, this gorgeous Secret Jungle design printed on our wonderful quality cotton sateen base cloth has been quilted to create most amazing reversible padded coating fabric. Our cotton sateen that you know and love has been teamed up with a matching plain cotton sateen to create this dual sided fabric. A layer of wadding is sandwiched between the two layers with a beautiful diamond quilted pattern stitched over the surface. Use either the plain side or the printed side as the right side in your project. So if you are making a jacket for example, you could choose to have the print on the outside, with a plain interior. Or have the plain on the outside with the print acting as a fabulous lining on the inside. The three layers of fabric provide good insulation to keep you warm even on the coolest days! The two cotton sateen layers are 100 percent cotton natural fibres. The wadding in between in 100 percent polyester. This fabric is the perfect choice for sewing coats and jackets. But you can also make cosy waistcoats and skirts, bags, cushions, home accessories and more! At 365 grams per square metre, this fabric is classed as a heavy weight, even though it does feel relatively light for its thickness. We recommend sewing this fabric with a new heavy universal needle for best results.
