Monarch Rain Chains Aluminum 3-Piece Gutter Adapter Kit with Brass Bolt for Rain Chain Installation, Large, Black Powder Coated

I bought these rain chains to finish off a Japanese themed garden and they are quite pretty and set the right tone. I talked with the owner before I bought them as the website mentioned that they might splash a little and she said that yes, in fact, they did splash but not very much. I bought just the chains. After installing them it was clear that they needed the installation drop kit which is sold separately in order to control the flow and resulting splash and we ordered those and installed them just the other day right before a heavy rainfall. The chains worked better in directing the water. Also, when the water hit the ground it was splashing there too and we had to find a bowl with a hole (we used a low bulb terra-cotta pot, 12 inches) to direct the flow into the drainage system. All in all now it looks pretty good but it took a fair amount of tinkering to get it right and a period of two months.

Haven’t had a chance to install them as gutters are still to be installed on my new home. They look great and am excited to put them up. I may be returning extension however measured before they back filled the walls so may not need. Loved your website. Too many choices!
