Soft velvet like material, cushions are thin but suprisingly supportive to sit on, easy to assemble, pull out is good quality. Mattress is a little thin but decent quality. This is being used in our den as a spare bed/couch and it does not get a lot of daily use so I dont know how durable it is if used regularly. For a cheaper couch, I think its worth the money.
