Had this heated water dish for the outside cats. It takes almost a gallon (5 liters) of water to fill it. Had this for 1 week and works very well. I had 2 smaller heated bowls that stopped working (age), but those wouldn't last 24hrs of water like this one does. price is perfect too

Works very well in freezing weather.

It's 5° out and the bowl is still keeping the water from freezing. This is nicely made, and has a status light on it. We do not need this bowl for our dogs. They have their own water dishes. I bought this for the birds to have water during the winter because heated bird baths are so expensive . We have birdfeeders in our yard so this way the birds have water during the winter.
