Samsung NA30R5310FS 30 inch Stainless 4 Burner Gas Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new cooktop a couple weeks now and absolutely love it! It replaces a 15 year old builder grade cooktop and was a super easy install process. Disconnected and pulled out the old one, and just dropped this one into place and made the connections. It is sleek and modern looking. and has instantly upgraded the look of my kitchen. I love the continuous surface grates, they are heavy duty and have a nice finish. They allow me to slide my pots and pans around, and even move them to the side. The burners themselves are so easy to control and tweak, and have a much higher BTU output than any other cooktop I have had. A large pot of water came to a boil quickly, and I was able to control it down to a simmer very easily. I was also able to melt chocolate on the small burner without scorching it or having to use a double boiler. I love that the control knobs are in the front, I don't have to reach over anything to reach them. They operate smoothly and the backlighting makes it is easy to see what they are set at, especially at night. They are really great because I don't have to go right up to the stove to see if I left a burner on. Speaking of - I NEVER thought I would use SmartConnect, but after downloading the app into my iphone and "practicing" I have found it helpful for monitoring what the burners are doing. Both the burners trays, grates, burners and knobs are really easy to clean and look good as new after cleaning. The finish matches my Samsung fridge perfectly.I am really happy with my choice! Actually DH is as well, he is even getting into the cooking!
