I'm a licensed massage therapist and I have been using this product for many years. It used to be called China gel. I like the white because it's pure. Does a fantastic job and every single client or guest that I worked with usually went home with a jar. Honestly I would be out of my mind if I couldn't use this on myself everyday!! Try it you'll like it! Just be very careful to wash your hands and underneath your finger nails if you apply it with your bare hands so that you don't accidentally get it into your eyes or mouth.
