That being said, these were bought as a gift for someone who knows her way around the kitchen and worked as a chef. In short, I was a hero, and it was one of her favorite Christmas gifts. I say this because I bought her the Shark set for her birthday... she took it back along with 3 other sets. it couldn't cut the mustard... it cut the ketchup ok though. But this set, she would never dream of taking it back? She was worried about the serrated steak knives because she wanted a knife she could also use for common purposes. Once using them, she became very happy with the entire set.

Super sharp knife set
This knife set arrived well packaged and on schedule. It's a beautiful set with German stainless steel. Knives are integrated one piece. My previous two knives sets were priced more than this set and one had a wooden handles while other had plastic handles and both sets cracked after couple of years, so I was looking for knives with no handles, glad I found this. Knife block is also of beautiful wood. There is a knife for every purpose and they all are super sharp. Block also has an inbuilt knife sharpener that I cannot wait to use. This set looks beautiful in the kitchen and I have already received few compliments for this.
