Effective like name brand

It had a few years since my last cold sore so only had a tiny bit left in my “expired” Abreva mini tube. I decided to test out Walmart's less expensive generic version, based on reviewers. Luckily this one worked for me. My cold sore was drying out within a day. Everyone reacts differently to medication so keep in mind when purchasing. When I purchased this, there was a significant difference in pricing between name brand and Equate.

The way it works is it keeps the fever blister from spreading to healthy uninfected skin. The blister won't grow if you put it on often and actually rub it in. The minute you feel an itch on your skin, just put it on and keep using it for a few days to avoid a blister.
