Key item features

  • Alerting Mechanism: The Sanialarm notifies users of elevated water levels within the pump, preventing inappropriate use and triggering a continuous 80 dB warning sound until the issue is resolved or manually switched off.
  • Activation Trigger: A level pressure switch activates the alarm when the water volume exceeds the maximum allowed level, emitting a continuous noise that ceases when the water level returns to normal.
  • Broad Compatibility: This alarm is compatible with Saniflo models including Saniplus, Sanibest, Sanigrind, Sanipack, and Sanivite, but it is not suitable for SaniAccess 3 or SaniAccess 2.
  • Power Requirements: The Sanialarm operates on 2 AA batteries, which are not included, and requires minimal installation for new or existing Saniflo setups.
  • Sound Output: The alarm emits a continuous 80 dB warning sound, providing a clear and audible notification of high water levels.

Works Somewhat

The idea is great. I'm not too confident that mine works all that effectively on the Sanibest Pro. It doesn't actually alarm until water is already backflowing up into the toilet. It seems to me like the water level in the toilet actually backs up above the top of the Sanibest pump before the alarm goes off. I guess the alarm would keep you from filling the toilet completely or having water back up all the way out of the shower basin when using the sink or something. Also the alarm volume is very quiet. I do not have my Sanibest pro mounted behind the wall or anything, it's directly behind the toilet, and it is quiet enough it would still be difficult to hear while running the shower. My shower is 10 feet away from the toilet in a small 4' x 10' mudroom/bathroom, so it's not like in a huge bathroom or anything. Don't get me wrong, it technically works, but I guess I was hoping for louder volume and more warning time before everything floods, especially for the cost.
