Pet Gear No Zip Pet Stroller

A huge disappointment. We have a handicap Westie and had been using for two years a very cheap stroller which was a little bit too small for our dog so we decided to get a larger one. We bought this one, paying more than $240 for it and we couldn't regret it more. For starters, it is very heavy, although we were aware of it as it is stated in its specifications. But it is extremely cumbersome to handle. Closing it is not so much an issue,but opening it is quite a chore. The board bed gets stuck in the arms of the stroller and makes it very difficult to close. Plus the mechanism that locks it into place doesn't work properly and you have to struggle to make it latch. The front wheel mechanism is very stiff and it is quite difficult to make it stay in the swivel mode. The cheap stroller we had could be opened and closed easily with one hand. There is no way you can do the same with this, and sometimes you require three hands. The fact that we use it constantly because our dog is always with us makes us regret constantly having purchased this item. Also, it folds into a very bulky package that totally takes a lot of trunk space. From the get go it was a struggle. When we got the stroller one of the tires was flat and the cheap pump that was provided doesn't work. The tire requires a special adapter that screws on so it took some effort to blow it up. All in all we would give zero stars to this stroller. Don't purchase it, save yourselves some bucks and a ton of aggravation.
