Not really for 5-8 year olds

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson. He is very tall, so by this saying it was for 3-5-8 year olds; I thought the tee appeared much taller in the picture. It just isn't near tall enough for him. I actually thought about returning it or asking for a refund.
