Adults may choose to take either one or two tablets; @ 114 lbs, most of the time i took one tablet especially if combined with cough med. Took two tabs only twice during the couple of weeks when i needed them, so the 40 tab pack would have been perfect if i were the only one taking them. This helped suppress my cough still I supplemented with some delsym-type-ingredients cough syrup when it was at its worst. Although this med does wake me up some, i was pleased that taking it had minimal to zero effect on my blood pressure.
