While these shoes are marked as boys, they definitely can also be worn by girls. These were specifically picked by my daughter and she couldn't be happier with her rainbow feet. She had no idea that they lit up so that was a big hit with her. They fit as expected and she can easily run, jump, and play in them. They can be worn with or without socks and an added bonus is that they are easy to wipe clean.

My little guy absolutely loves these shoes! They are easy for him to put on and take off by himself and it is helpful for him to figure out which shoe goes on the correct foot. The material is soft and has not rubbed his feet and the lights are very bright. He even wore them to bed a few times! Highly recommend.
