Dan Dee Squeaky & Plush Dog Toy with Eco Friendly Fiber for Small Dogs, Multicolor

My dog loves this toy! I wish there was more in stock.

Thought this would be perfect for our small dog. Cut of the loop on the underside, the tag at the bottom and the plastic pieces holding the cardboard DanDee tag onto the toy. When my dog was playing with it I saw she was trying to pull something out of the toy's ear. I felt something hard and sharp. After spending some time I pulled out plastic pieces like the ones holding the DD tag on. These were inside the puppy holding the ears onto the head a bit below where the ears were sewn on. If my pup had gotten them out they could have been dangerous if she swallowed them. It's ironic that on the DanDee tag it also says "Only The Best For My Dog". When I was certain I'd gotten all the plastic pieces out I sewed the ears down with thread and gave it back to her. I am going to go into Walmart tomorrow and check the remaining toys. If they seem to have the same problem I will talk to the manager.
