We have found in some cases, some of these Can Am Models use 771179900, this comes with a 16mm flywheel.
A past customer with a 1978 Can Am MX4 250 that used the 16mm flywheel.
This is the D/C system and will run head lights, tail lights, turn signals and charges the battery.
If the DC systems has R9522 regulator, then a battery is needed to flash the turn signals / lights
If the DC systems has R7300 regulator, then no battery is needed to flash the turn signals / lights
