I use it as a welder it's holding up pretty good The only thing that could be better is make the seat a little thicker it tends to rip or cut easily. The actual cover the fake leather or whatever it is Make it a little more tougher it's prone to wear out fast against resistance

I bought the stool to help maneuver around the house while in a cast after surgery . I have hardwood floors throughout and live on one level. It allowed me to sit comfortably at the kitchen table to prepare meals rather than standing with crutches on one leg. And I could apply makeup in the morning without having to do the balancing act. It's a heavy-duty stool and one simple step to assemble in less than 3 minutes. the height is easily adjustable and cushion very comfortable. Delivery time-frame and driver were great. I received the item the next day (without upgrading shipping) and the driver was kind enough to set inside my front door once he saw I was on crutches. I'm off the crutches now and still use for other tasks at the kitchen table.
