Another lovely fabric in stock at Minerva, this Satin, Crepe is ideal for dressmaking. This crepe back satin is a smooth, crepe fabric with a shiny satin back. Because of its wide colour range and affordability, crepe backed satin is often used for wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and eveningwear. One side is a matte, dull finish and the other side is a shiny glossy satin. You can use either side as the face, or both sides used together create very interesting effects. All fabric is cut from the roll and available to order by the metre. The fabric will be cut as one continuous piece no matter how many metres you order.
