Hard cover book the size of soft cover???

This 942 page book is described as hard cover but is only 7" X 4 1/4" with very small print and bound so tightly that it would be difficult to read. The original Ken Follett Century Trilogy hard cover books are 9 1/2" X 6 1/4" which I expected this item to be. I do not recommend buying this book and will be returning the one I received.
