I purchased this after Christmas to replace one that I had for over 5 years. This makes the best tea. I like my tea strong and this makes the perfect iced tea. I do not fill with ice, just water and then let cool in refrigerator overnight. Suggestion for people that complain about machine leaking- do not over fill tank. I would highly recommend this machine.
