Medium size was WAY too small

I don't know if I would recommend these pants or not. I ordered the medium. I am 5ft 2 in and 123 lbs. The medium was 3 or more inches short in the crotch and legs were tight. My husband asked if I ordered them for our 12 yr old grand daughter. I don't think these pants would fit her either. I might try to order an XL - skipping right over the large as the medium was so ridiculously small. The quality and comfort would be great - if the pants actually fit.
