Nice summer dress

Love the yellow. A tad see through, but not bad at all - I won't have to wear a ‘slip' under it. I ordered my usual size in a dress (small) Fits well and seems flattering. The area between the buttons tends to gape when I move, so I will be sewing up the majority of the front. I don't need many buttons to get it on and off. Good value-seems comfy. Material is a bit stiffer than I thought it would be, but still nice and comfortable. Great for summer. Can be a bit dressy or quite casual. Very comfortable.

Great for a summer day

I really love this dress - the yellow is a rich sunflower yellow, the fabric is lightweight (a slip may be warranted as it is thin and see through) and flowy, and it's great for a hot California summer day. Issues I found with the dress - sizing is way off. I normally wear a size 4 and, based on other reviews, I went up a size. It was still a little snug in the chest and waist area. The buttons are spaced 3 3/4 inches from each other in the chest and waist area, then spacing between buttons increases to 4 inches. This spacing, which is too wide, causes gaps to occur in the chest and waist areas. I ended up pinning the areas between the top 3 buttons to eliminate the gaps.
