Better Homes & Gardens Juliet Curved Wood Platform Bed, Queen, Honey Brown

This bed was a fantastic value. I am a huge fan of Better Homes and Gardens. They are my go to for quality and consistency. When backed by Walmarts prompt shipping and customer service, its a home run. This bed has a solid wood head board that is quite tall. I was looking for a focal point in a room with lower ceilings and placing the headboard took your eye away from the lower ceilings. The rest of the bed is a laminate but is hard to notice. My 12 year old grandson put together in 90 minutes. It does take 2 people because it quite heavy when connecting to the headboard. The bed frame corners are rounded as well as the night stands, a look we were going for to compliment a dresser we had from the 50's with a rounded design. I have several Homes and Gardens pieces and all are easy to assemble with great instructions. Highly recommend.

I love it! Very pretty and heavy (in a good way.)! Suggestion: Assemble the headboard first, especially if you have limited assembly space. It will give you an accurate picture of the width of the furniture and if you need to change where you place it, you can do it a this time. Moving the headboard is easier than the assembled side rails and footboard. (Nothing in the boxes unassembled represents the true width and height, visually). Purchase a bunkie frame if you don't like the sinking feeling of your mattress Need an electric screwdriver.
