Pretty easy to assemble and the instructions were simple to follow, but I had one bolt that didn't quite aline and I ended up stripping the bolt. Other than that the bed is sturdy and seems to be well made. The parts are most if not all metal and not plastic. Well worth the cost and if you are looking for a bed I recommend this frame!
